What’s the Eye rod?
Eye rod often referred to as an eye bolt or eyelet rod, is a type of fastener characterized by a looped end. It is widely used in various construction, industrial, and marine applications for lifting, anchoring, and securing purposes. An eye rod consists of a threaded rod with a loop or eye at one end. The eye can be circular, oval, or shaped like a hook.

Installation:
1. Drilling: A hole is drilled into the material where the eye rod will be installed.
2. Threading: The threaded end of the eye rod is screwed into the hole. If additional security is needed, a nut can be used on the threaded end.
3. Securing: The eye rod is tightened to ensure it is firmly in place.
4. Attachment: Ropes, cables, or chains can be looped through the eye for lifting, securing, or tensioning purposes.
