What is the pressure reducing valve？

Flanged globe type pressure reducing valve is globe type pilot-operated pressure control valve used in sprinkler and standpipe systems with flanged connection. It automatically reduces a higher inlet pressure to a steady lower outlet pressure, without changing flow rate and inlet pressure.Reducing valve (reducing valve) is to control the opening and closing of the valve body to adjust the flow of the medium, reduce the pressure of the medium, and at the same time adjust the opening and closing part with the help of the role of the valve pressure, so that the valve pressure is kept within a certain range, and in the valve body or after the valve spray cooling water, the temperature of the medium is reduced, this valve is called a pressure reducing valve. The valve is characterized by keeping the outlet pressure and temperature values within a certain range under the condition of changing inlet pressure.
