What are steel nipple pipe fittings?

The steel nipple pipe fittings are straight pipes with external threads at both ends. It is one of the most popular categories of pipe fittings. It is a connector or coupling with threads on both ends.Steel Nipple Fittings are used to connect pipes to water heaters or other plumbing. They are used to install straight end hose or pipe. Coupling combinations are recommended for low pressure discharge and suction service with a variety of compatible fluids and are not suitable for compressible products such as air, nitrogen or steam.

Pacifiers can be divided into single-ended and double-ended; ordinary type and hexagonal type, generally equal in diameter. It is male/female, male/female or plug welded to the fitting/fitting to match the seal.
Nipples can also be divided into short tubes, different diameter nipples and threaded short nipples. Thread spools are available in single or double threads and are commonly used for industrial pipe connections. The main thread standards are American Standard ASME B16.11 and National Standard GB/T14626. Among them, NPT (National-American Pipe Thread) RC thread (conical thread, internal thread) enjoys a high reputation in the market.
