Malleable cast iron fittings, also known as MI Fittings, are used to connect pipes in plumbing, heating, cooling and other applications. Malleable cast iron is cast iron that has been heat treated to increase its ductility, making it less brittle and more resistant to impact. This allows it to be molded into complex shapes.
