Bracing clamp: Designed for bracing pipe against sway and seismic disturbance.The pipe attachment component of a sway brace system used in conjunctionwith a UTT Manufacturing structural attachment fitting,and joinedtogether with a bracing pipe element forms a complete sway braceassembly.Sway brace assemblies are intended to be installed inaccordance with NFPA 13 and the manufacturer’s installationinstructions.

The function of longitudinal in-line sway brace artachment

1. Used to quickly fix main pipelines and used for horizontal or longitudinal earthquake resistance of single pipes.

How to install the bracing clamp

Install the pipe clamp to the pipe,then install the bolts andnuts as the shown picture.The accessories of UTT20 usethe sch401-inch pipe,The nuts torque of UTT 20 needto reach 100~115N·M to make all green marking linesvisible in the bolts.After the installation of bolts &nutsand other accessories,the pipe must be clamped to thebottom of the accessories.
